The Ohio State University Celeste Hall MP

This project involved programming and Master Planning for the 20,000 GSF 1st floor of Celeste Hall at The Ohio State University. The first floor is used for administrative offices, classrooms, labs, a learning resource center, chemical preparation, and stores for the Department of Chemistry.

The project reviewed present needs, along with future growth needs for the Department along with recommendation for holistic, phased renovations to meet the projected goals and programming requirements. A Program of Requirements was developed based on data collected from the users. Recommendations for this project also took into account site access, safety and egress, interior spaces, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
